The day began with an introduction from Ben Lawes, Business Development Manager at abtec, who welcomed delegates and provided an overview of abtec Managed IT and how we support organisations with reliable, secure technology solutions. Ben then introduced our guest speakers from Sophos, Jason Brown and Jon Hope, who led the live cyber attack session throughout the day.
Rather than simply discussing cyber threats in theory, Jason and Jon delivered a live scenario demonstrating how a cyber attack can unfold in real time and the potential impact it can have on an organisation.
