What is the Crown Commercial Service (CCS)?

The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) is the biggest procurement organisation in the UK. They support buyers in central government and across the public and third sectors with the purchasing of goods and services. In 2022/23, they assisted thousands of organisations in the UK with £3.8 billion worth of commercial benefits.

The CCS has a number of commercial agreements readily available, supporting a wide range of products and services. One of these commercial agreements is the Network Services 3 framework, in which we at ABtec are very proud to be listed as a supplier.

In order for a supplier to be listed on one of the CCS frameworks, they must be thoroughly evaluated. They must be able to demonstrate their capabilities of delivering the services outlined within the lots they apply for. These ‘lots’ are subcategories within the commercial agreement, most commonly outlined by product or service type.
